Itinerary

Pyramids of Giza 

Enjoy your morning and breakfast , your guide will meet and pick you up to spend a fabulous  full day  Starting the tour by visiting The Giza pyramids  one of the seven wonder of the world ,which consist of three pyramids . The first great pyramid of Cheops (the father ) & the second pyramid of Chephren  (the son) and the third pyramid of Mykerinos (the grandson) . Then move to the Valley Temple  where the priest mummified the dead body of king Chephren  .  Also there you will have a close- up look at The Sphinx , the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex  with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.

Old Cairo

Then visiting Old Cairo that known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is Among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still; though their stay was brief, for the Governor of what was then Fustat enraged by the tumbling down of idols at Jesus’ approach sought to kill the Child. But they took shelter from his wrath in a cave above which, in later years, the Church of Abu Serga (St Sergius) was built. This and the whole area of the Fort of Babylon is a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. An air of piety and devotion pervades the whole district there. Also There you will be able to visit and Enter the Church of Abu-Sergah , the hanging church, and the old Jewish synagogue – Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Citadel of Salah El-din 

The Citadel of Cairo, built by Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi in 1176 AD on the Muqattam Hills, is a historic fortress known for its strategic location and panoramic views of Cairo. Completed in 1207 AD under Sultan al-Kamel ibn al-Adel, it became the official residence of Egypt’s rulers until the mid-19th century when the seat of power shifted to Abdeen Palace in downtown Cairo under Khedive Ismail. Today, it remains a prominent symbol of Cairo’s history, featuring the impressive Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha and attracting visitors for its architectural grandeur and historical significance.

Mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas 

The Mosque of Amr ibn al-As holds a special place in Islamic history as the first mosque built on the African continent. Established in 642 AD by Amr ibn al-As, the commander of the Muslim army that conquered Egypt, the mosque is located in Fustat, near modern-day Cairo. Originally a simple structure made of mud bricks and palm fronds, it served as a center for prayer and community gatherings. Over the centuries, the mosque underwent several renovations and expansions, reflecting the evolving architectural styles and religious practices of Islam. Today, while much of the original mosque is no longer standing, its historical significance remains profound, symbolizing the early spread of Islam into Egypt and its enduring cultural legacy in the region.

Cave Church 

The Cave Church, also known as the Monastery and Church of St. Simon the Tanner, is a notable Coptic Orthodox church situated in the Mokattam mountain range near Cairo, Egypt. Carved into limestone cliffs, it started as a small cave chapel in the 1970s and has since expanded into a large complex accommodating thousands of worshippers. Named after St. Simon the Tanner, a revered Coptic saint, the church’s interior features intricate Coptic Christian art and offers breathtaking views of Cairo. It stands as a symbol of faith and cultural heritage for Egypt’s Coptic community, blending ancient traditions with modern worship practices in a picturesque setting.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
